Who recognises Osteopathy?

AWARD-WINNING

HEALTHCARE

for the whole family

Osteopathy underwent statutory regulation in 1993 and was awarded Allied Health Professional status in 2017. This gives an osteopath the same status as a podiatrist, paramedic or physiotherapist and guarantees patients the equivalent high level of care.

The General Osteopathic Council regulates the practice of osteopathy in the UK, promoting patient safety by setting and monitoring standards of osteopathic conduct. By law, an osteopath must be registered and comply with strict regulatory requirements.

Welcome to Netherne Osteopathic Practice

At Netherne Osteopathic Practice, we are dedicated to providing the highest quality osteopathic services throughout the local area including Netherne, Coulsdon, Hooley, Chipstead, Caterham, Chalsdon and elsewhere in Croydon.

What is osteopathy?

Osteopaths are highly qualified healthcare professionals, trained to degree level and regulated by law. They are expert in the relationship between your muscles, bones and joints and the maintenance of good health in the rest of your body.

Your osteopath will take time to understand your individual needs. Using effective manual therapy techniques, exercises and advice they will provide a tailored and personalised approach to health, helping you to feel better and stay that way for longer.
