NICE Fellowship

In April 2018, Matthew Rogers, Lead Osteopath at Netherne Osteopathic Practice and Head of Professional Development for the Institute of Osteopathy (the not-for-profit professional membership organisation for osteopaths) was appointed to one of 10 prestigious NICE Fellowship posts offered each year by the National Institute of Health and Care Excellence.

The purpose of this unpaid opportunity is to allow influential healthcare organisations to build a closer relationship with NICE in order to disseminate and promote the uptake of high quality clinical guidelines which might be considered to be best practice. The role will require a 3 years commitment and fits in well with the work that the Institute of Osteopathy Professional Development team is already pursuing regarding promoting excellence in osteopathy.
